Tram line 8 in Zürich runs between Hardturm in the west of the city and Kirche Fluntern on the Zürichberg, travelling via Bahnhof Hardbrücke, Bahnhof Selnau, Bahnhof Enge, Bürkliplatz, Bellevue and Kunsthaus.
Note: On Sundays and public holidays, line 8 continues beyond Kirche Fluntern to Zoo.
Starting at Hardturm, line 8 runs east along Hardturmstrasse through Bernoulli-Häuser, Fischerweg and Förrlibuckstrasse before reaching Escher-Wyss-Platz. It then continues via Schiffbau and Bahnhof Hardbrücke, crosses the railway lines and runs through Hardplatz, Güterbahnhof, Bäckeranlage, Helvetiaplatz and Stauffacher to Bahnhof Selnau.
From Bahnhof Selnau, line 8 runs via Tunnelstrasse to Bahnhof Enge before continuing through Rentenanstalt and Bürkliplatz to Bellevue. From Bellevue, the route climbs via Kunsthaus, Kantonsschule, Platte and Voltastrasse to Kirche Fluntern. On Sundays and public holidays, services continue beyond Kirche Fluntern through Toblerplatz, Zürichbergstrasse and Susenbergstrasse to Zoo.
