Tram line 11 in Zürich
Tram line 11 in Zürich runs from Central in the city centre to Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen in the south east of Zürich, travelling via Bahnhofstrasse/HB, Paradeplatz, Bürkliplatz and Bellevue before continuing through Seefeld.
Note: Line 11 has different city-centre termini depending on the direction of travel. Services towards Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen start at Central, while services travelling from Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen terminate at Bahnhofstrasse/HB.
Note: Line 11 operates as a through service with line 15.Services arriving from Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen change from line 11 to line 15 at Bahnhofstrasse/HB and continue via Central and the Limmatquai back towards Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen. In the other direction around the circuit, line 15 changes to line 11 at Central. Passengers can remain on board when the line number changes.
Starting at Central, line 11 runs to Bahnhofstrasse/HB before continuing south along Bahnhofstrasse through Rennweg, Paradeplatz and Kantonalbank to Bürkliplatz. From Bürkliplatz, the line crosses Quaibrücke to Bellevue.
From Bellevue, line 11 continues via Opernhaus and along Seefeldstrasse through Kreuzstrasse, Feldeggstrasse, Höschgasse, Fröhlichstrasse and Wildbachstrasse before reaching Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen. In the opposite direction, services follow the same route back as far as Bahnhofstrasse/HB, where the line 11 journey terminates.

Central is one of Zürich's major public transport interchanges and was known as Leonhardplatz until 1950. Beside the stop is the lower station of the Polybahn funicular, which climbs to the university quarter near ETH Zürich.
Note: Central is the starting point for line 11 services towards Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen. Services travelling in the opposite direction terminate at Bahnhofstrasse / HB.

Paradeplatz is one of Zürich's best-known city-centre squares and a major hub on the tram network. The square has long been associated with Zürich's banking industry and is home to the former headquarters of Credit Suisse, which, along with the prominent UBS building next to it, now forms part of UBS's Paradeplatz campus.

Bellevue is one of Zürich's major public transport hubs, located beside Sechseläutenplatz near the shore of Lake Zürich.
