Tram line 10 in Zürich
Tram line 10 links central Zürich with Zürich Airport, travelling via Central, the university district, Universität Irchel and Bahnhof Oerlikon before continuing through Glattpark and Glattbrugg to the airport.
Note: Airport-bound services start at Bahnhofstrasse/HB, while services arriving from the airport terminate at Bahnhofplatz/HB. After terminating at Bahnhofplatz/HB, the tram moves out of passenger service before beginning its next airport-bound journey from Bahnhofstrasse/HB.
Airport-bound services on line 10 start at Bahnhofstrasse/HB and run to Central before climbing through Haldenegg to ETH/Universitätsspital. From there, the route continues through Haldenbach, Winkelriedstrasse and Seilbahn Rigiblick before following the corridor through Kinkelstrasse, Letzistrasse and Langmauerstrasse to Universität Irchel. Line 10 then continues via Milchbuck and Hirschwiesenstrasse towards Oerlikon, serving Berninaplatz and Salersteig before reaching Sternen Oerlikon and Bahnhof Oerlikon Ost.
From Oerlikon, the line continues through Leutschenbach and Oerlikerhus to Glattpark, then runs via Lindberghplatz and Bahnhof Glattbrugg. Beyond Glattbrugg, line 10 follows the largely segregated light-rail section via Bäuler, Unterriet and Kloten Balsberg before reaching Zürich Flughafen, Bahnhof and finally Zürich Flughafen, Fracht. In the opposite direction, services retrace the route as far as Central, then cross Bahnhofbrücke to terminate at Bahnhofplatz/HB.
