Tram line 50 in Zürich
Tram line 50 in Zürich is a temporary service introduced during the closure of Bahnhofquai/HB. It runs between Frankental in the north-west of the city and Auzelg in the north, combining sections that were previously served by lines 13 and 11.
Between Frankental and Sihlquai/HB, line 50 follows the former northern section of line 13. It then runs via Stampfenbachplatz before continuing through Bucheggplatz and Oerlikon to Auzelg over the former northern section of line 11.
Starting at Frankental, line 50 runs through Winzerstrasse, Wartau, Zwielplatz and Meierhofplatz before continuing through Schwert, Alte Trotte, Eschergutweg and Waidfussweg to Wipkingerplatz. From there, the line continues through Escher-Wyss-Platz, Löwenbräu, Quellenstrasse and Limmatplatz to Museum für Gestaltung and Sihlquai/HB.
From Sihlquai/HB, line 50 continues to Stampfenbachplatz before running through Beckenhof, Kronenstrasse and Schaffhauserplatz to Laubiweg and Bucheggplatz. It then continues through Brunnenhof, Bad Allenmoos and Regensbergbrücke to Bahnhof Oerlikon.
From Bahnhof Oerlikon, the line runs via Sternen Oerlikon, Messe/Hallenstadion, Leutschenbach, Oerlikerhus, Glattpark and Fernsehstudio before reaching its terminus at Auzelg.
