Tram line 12 in Zürich
Tram line 12 runs between Zürich Airport and Bahnhof Stettbach, travelling via Glattbrugg, Glattpark and Wallisellen. Unlike most tram lines in the Zürich network, it does not pass through the city centre, and much of its route has the character of a modern light railway rather than a traditional street-running tramway.
Starting at Zürich Flughafen, Fracht, line 12 runs first to the main airport stop at Zürich Flughafen, Bahnhof before continuing via Kloten Balsberg, Unterriet and Bäuler to Bahnhof Glattbrugg. From there, the route continues through Lindberghplatz to Glattpark, then runs past Fernsehstudio to Auzelg.
From Auzelg, line 12 continues east towards Wallisellen, serving Herti and Belair before reaching Bahnhof Wallisellen. The route then runs through Glatt and Neugut before crossing towards Dübendorf, serving Am Ring and Ringwiesen on the approach to its eastern terminus at Bahnhof Stettbach.
