Tram line 51 in Zürich
Tram line 51 in Zürich is a temporary service introduced during the closure of Bahnhofquai/HB. It runs between Bahnhof Altstetten Nord in the west of the city and Seebach in the north, combining sections that were previously served by lines 4 and 14.
Between Bahnhof Altstetten Nord and Sihlquai/HB, line 51 follows the former western section of line 4. It then runs via Stampfenbachplatz before continuing through Schaffhauserplatz, Milchbuck and Oerlikon to Seebach over the former northern section of line 14.
Starting at Bahnhof Altstetten Nord, line 51 runs through Würzgraben, Aargauerstrasse, Sportweg and Toni-Areal before continuing through Technopark and Schiffbau to Escher-Wyss-Platz. From there, the line continues through Löwenbräu, Quellenstrasse and Limmatplatz to Museum für Gestaltung and Sihlquai/HB.
From Sihlquai/HB, line 51 continues to Stampfenbachplatz before running through Beckenhof, Kronenstrasse and Schaffhauserplatz to Guggachstrasse and Milchbuck.
From Milchbuck, the line continues through Hirschwiesenstrasse, Berninaplatz and Salersteig to Sternen Oerlikon and Bahnhof Oerlikon Ost, before running through Felsenrainstrasse and Seebacherplatz to its terminus at Seebach.
