Tram line 6 in Zürich

About Line 6

Tram line 6 in Zürich runs between Bahnhofplatz/HB in the city centre and Zoo on the Zürichberg. From the main station, the route crosses the River Limmat to Central before climbing through the university district and Kirche Fluntern towards Zürich Zoo.

Note: At Bahnhofplatz/HB, line 6 changes to line 14. Passengers travelling through the stop can remain on board, allowing a direct journey between Zoo and Triemli without changing trams.

Starting at Bahnhofplatz/HB, line 6 crosses Bahnhofbrücke to Central before beginning its climb towards the Zürichberg. From Central, the line follows Weinbergstrasse and Leonhardstrasse to Haldenegg and ETH/Universitätsspital, then continues via Platte and Voltastrasse to Kirche Fluntern. From there, the route climbs further through Toblerplatz, Zürichbergstrasse and Susenbergstrasse before reaching its terminus at Zoo.
