Tram line 2 in Zürich

About Line 2

Tram line 2 in Zürich runs between Schlieren, Geissweid, in the neighbouring municipality of Schlieren to the north-west of Zürich, and Klusplatz in the east of the city. The route passes through the western districts of Zürich before crossing the city centre via Stauffacher, Paradeplatz and Bellevue, then continuing through Bahnhof Stadelhofen and Kreuzplatz to Klusplatz.

Route of Zürich Line 2

Starting at Schlieren, Geissweid, the line initially runs along Ringstrasse and Zürcherstrasse, passing Schlieren, Zentrum/Bahnhof and Micafil before continuing through Farbhof and along Badenerstrasse towards the centre of Zürich. The route passes Stadion Letzigrund and Albisriederplatz before crossing the River Sihl shortly after Stauffacher and continuing through the city centre to the major tram interchange at Paradeplatz. From Paradeplatz, the line runs along the lower part of Bahnhofstrasse towards Bürkliplatz, then crosses the River Limmat to Bellevue. From Bellevue, line 2 continues via Bahnhof Stadelhofen and Kreuzplatz before climbing through Englischviertelstrasse, Römerhof and Hölderlinstrasse to its eastern terminus at Klusplatz.
