Tram line 70 in Melbourne
Tram line 70 runs from Wattle Park in Surrey Hills to Waterfront City in Docklands.
The line connects Surrey Hills and Camberwell with Hawthorn, Burnley, Richmond, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Park, central Melbourne and the Docklands precinct.
Camberwell Market/Riversdale Rd is served only by trams travelling towards Wattle Park. Trams travelling towards Waterfront City run directly from Fermanagh Rd/Riversdale Rd to Camberwell Junction/Riversdale Rd.
From Wattle Park, Line 70 follows Riversdale Road westwards through Surrey Hills and Canterbury, serving Riversdale Station before continuing through Camberwell and Hawthorn East.
The route continues through Hawthorn, Burnley and Richmond before passing the Melbourne Cricket Ground, John Cain Arena and Rod Laver Arena. It then follows Flinders Street through central Melbourne, serving Federation Square and Flinders Street Station.
At the western end of Flinders Street, Line 70 turns onto Harbour Esplanade and continues through Docklands before following Docklands Drive to its terminus at Waterfront City.
