Tram line 30 in Melbourne
Tram line 30 runs between St Vincent's Plaza in East Melbourne and Central Pier in Docklands, serving 11 stops.
The short cross-city route links the St Vincent's Hospital precinct with the northern side of Melbourne's central business district, Melbourne Central, Flagstaff, Docklands Stadium and the Central Pier waterfront.
The La Trobe Street stops were extensively rebuilt in 2024. New accessible platforms were provided at the retained stops, while the former stops at Russell Street and Queen Street were removed to increase the spacing between stops.
From St Vincent's Plaza, Line 30 travels through East Melbourne and joins La Trobe Street near its junction with Victoria Street. It then runs west along the northern edge of the central business district, serving Exhibition Street before reaching the separate La Trobe Street stops for the Swanston Street and Elizabeth Street tram corridors.
The route continues past Melbourne Central and State Library stations to Flagstaff Station, then follows La Trobe Street towards Spencer Street. It crosses the railway approaches to Southern Cross Station on the La Trobe Street bridge and enters Docklands.
After serving Docklands Stadium, Line 30 turns onto Harbour Esplanade and runs south to its terminus at Central Pier.
