Tram line 19 runs between North Coburg and Flinders Street Station in central Melbourne. The southbound route shown on this page serves 35 stops.
The line provides a major north–south connection through Coburg and Brunswick, linking the Sydney Road corridor with the university and hospital precinct in Parkville, Queen Victoria Market and the city centre.
St Pauls Catholic Church/Sydney Rd is served only by southbound trams travelling towards Flinders Street Station. Northbound services towards North Coburg skip the stop. Line 19 operates throughout the week, with overnight services also running on Friday and Saturday nights.
From North Coburg, Line 19 follows Sydney Road south through Coburg, serving Bell Street, Coburg Market and the surrounding residential and commercial districts.
The route continues through Brunswick along the Sydney Road shopping corridor before joining Royal Parade. It then travels through Parkville, serving the University of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Hospital precinct.
After reaching Haymarket, Line 19 follows Elizabeth Street through central Melbourne. It passes Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Central before terminating outside Flinders Street Station.
