BTANIC is Adelaide's east–west tram service, running between Botanic Gardens and the Entertainment Centre at Hindmarsh. It links the cultural institutions along North Terrace with Adelaide Railway Station, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Bonython Park and the Entertainment Centre. The entire journey falls within Adelaide Metro's free tram travel zone.
The western section to the Entertainment Centre opened in 2010, while the extension to Botanic Gardens opened in 2018. Together, they provide a direct route across the northern edge of the city centre. Passengers can change to Glenelg trams at Adelaide Railway Station, City West or Royal Adelaide Hospital.

The route begins at Botanic Gardens, at the eastern end of North Terrace. Travelling west, trams stop at University and Art Gallery, serving the university and Adelaide's cultural precinct, before reaching Adelaide Railway Station. The railway station stop provides a connection with Adelaide's suburban trains.
From the station, BTANIC continues along North Terrace through City West to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. It then leaves the city centre and follows Port Road, stopping at Thebarton and Bonython Park before terminating outside the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. The terminus also serves the Centre's Park 'n' Ride facility for journeys into the city.
