Tram line 1 in Mostaganem

Tram line 1 in Mostaganem runs from La Salamandre to Karouba via Gare de Mostaganem. The entire route is 12.2km long and has 20 stops. Trams run every 8 - 10 minutes.

From the terminus stop La Salamandre, which is in the south-west of the city, the line runs east for a short distance, before turning left to run in a northeasterly direction alongside Rue de la Cité Administrative, passing the stop Cité Administrative, until it reaches Bd de la Salamandre, where it turns right to run east for a short distance, along the centre of the road. The line then turns right, to run in a southerly direction along Route du Port, passing Route du Port stop before turning left at Cité Ben Djlidjel Kaddour.

From Cité Ben Djlidjel Kaddour, the line runs in a zigzag fashion in a generally easterly direction, passing Cité Gouaich Charef and Cité Cheikh Hamada, before it starts its run north towards the center of the city. The line passes Cité Khemisti and arrives at the main train station Gare de Mostaganem, where it interchanges with Line 2.

From Gare de Mostaganem, the line runs through a tunnel section, before turning left to run along Dahra Blvd in a northerly direction, passing Cité El Arsa, before turning left with Dahra Blvd, to the stop Armée de Libération Nationale. From Armée de Libération Nationale, the line runs north, passing Hôpital de Tidjditt and Tidjditt stops before crossin over the N90 to the stop at Cité Universitaire Benyahia Belkacem 1 .

From Cité Universitaire Benyahia Belkacem 1, the line runs northeast besides the N11 (Kharouba Rd), passing Cité Universitaire Benyahia Belkacem 2 and École de Protection civile to Faculté de Médecine. From Faculté de Médecine, the line continues north alongside the N11, passing Haï Es Salam, Cité Universitaire Karouba and Institut d'Éducation Physique et Sportive, before arriving at the terminus stop Karouba.
