Tram line GLNELG in Adelaide
Tram line GLENELG in Adelaide runs between Moseley Square in Glenelg to either Royal Adelaide Hospital or Entertainment Centre depending on the time of day. The journey to Royal Adelaide Hospital takes 44 minutes and the one to Entertainment Centre 52 minutes. There are trams every 5 minutes during the week and every 20 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
From the terminus at Moseley Square, the line runs east along Jetty Road, calling at Jetty Road - North Side, until it reaches Brighton Road. From Brighton Road, the line continues east between Dumbar Terrace and Maxwell Terrace, stopping at Glenelg East, Glengowrie and Morphett Road.
From Morphett Road, the line runs northeast, stopping at Morphettville Racecourse (only served on race days) and Plympton Park. From Plympton Park, the line continues northeast between Lindsay Street and Wattle Terrace, crossing Cross Roadand stopping at Marion Road.
From Marion Road, the line continues northeast, between Glengyle Terrace and Pleasant Avenue, stopping at South Plympton and Beckman Street. From Beckman Street, the line continues running between Glengyle Terrace and Nottingham Crescent, stopping at Glandore and South Road. From South Road, the line continues northeast, stopping at Black Forest, Forestville, Goodwood Road and Wayville. From Goodwood Road, the line turns more northerly, stopping at the Greenhill Road stop.
From Greenhill Road stop, the line crosses Greenhill Road and turns northbound alongside Peacock Road, stopping at South Terrace. From South Terrace, the line crosses South Terrace and joins King William Street, stopping at City South, Victoria Square, Pirie and Rundle Mall. From Rundle Mall, the line continues north along King William Street until it reaches North Terrace, where it turns left and runs along North Terrace to Adelaide Railway Station.
From Adelaide Railway Station, the line continues along North Terrace, passing under Montefiore Road to the stops of City West and Royal Adelaide Hospital, where the line terminates outside of peak hours. During peak hours, the line continues from Royal Adelaide Hospital, turning slightly right to run along the center of Port Road, until the road and the line turn right to head north and stop at Thebarton.
From Thebarton, the line continues north along Port Road, passing Bonython Park stop, until it reaches the junction with Park Terrace, where it turns slightly left and continues along Port Road a short distance, to the terminus stop at Entertainment Centre.
