Tram line 101 in Mendoza
Metrotranvía line 101 in Mendoza runs from Avellaneda in Las Heras to Gutiérrez in Maipú, travelling through central Mendoza and Godoy Cruz. Services travelling over the same route in the opposite direction are designated line 100. The complete journey typically takes approximately 45 minutes.
Regular passenger services began between Mendoza and Gutiérrez in October 2012. The route was extended north from Mendoza to Avellaneda in 2019.
Starting at Avellaneda, line 101 runs south through Las Heras, serving Marcos Burgos, Julio Argentino Roca, Patricias Mendocinas and José María Godoy. It then continues through Rubilar, Lugones, Moldes and Suipacha before reaching Mendoza station.
From Mendoza, the line continues south through the city, serving Belgrano, Pedro Molina and 25 de Mayo before reaching Pellegrini. It then travels through Godoy Cruz, serving San Martín, Godoy Cruz, Progreso, Independencia and Parque TIC.
The route continues towards Maipú through 9 de Julio, Luzuriaga, Piedra Buena, Alta Italia and Maza before reaching its southern terminus at Gutiérrez.

Avellaneda is the northern terminus of Metrotranvía line 101 and is located beside Calle Avellaneda in the Panquehua area of Las Heras. The stop opened in May 2019 when the Metrotranvía was extended north from Mendoza.
Marcos Burgos tram stop is located where the former railway corridor crosses Calle Burgos in the Panquehua area of Las Heras. It opened in May 2019 as part of the extension from Mendoza to Avellaneda.
Roca tram stop is located where the Metrotranvía corridor crosses Calle General Julio Argentino Roca in central Las Heras. It lies immediately south of the former Los Tamarindos railway station and is close to Plaza Marcos Burgos, the Las Heras municipal offices and Estadio Vicente Polimeni.

Patricias Mendocinas tram stop is located where the Metrotranvía corridor crosses Calle Patricias Mendocinas in Las Heras. The adjoining street commemorates the women of Mendoza who supported General José de San Martín’s Army of the Andes, including by donating jewellery and helping to make its flag and uniforms.

José María Godoy tram stop is located where the Metrotranvía corridor crosses Calle Godoy in Las Heras. It serves the surrounding residential neighbourhood and is close to the Oratorio Ceferino Namuncurá.

Moldes tram stop is located beside Calle Coronel Moldes in the City of Mendoza. It lies within the Procrear residential development constructed on former railway land and serves this substantial modern neighbourhood.
Suipacha tram stop is located beside Calle Suipacha in the northern part of the City of Mendoza. The former railway corridor lies at a different level from the street, with ramps and stairs providing access to the platforms.
Mendoza tram station is located beside Avenida General Belgrano at Avenida Juan B. Justo, alongside the restored building of the former Mendoza railway station. It was the northern terminus of the Metrotranvía from the opening of regular services in 2012 until the extension to Avellaneda opened in May 2019.

Pedro Molina tram stop is located at the junction of Avenida Belgrano and Avenida Pedro Molina, on the western side of Mendoza’s civic district. The avenue and stop commemorate Pedro Molina, who served several terms as governor of Mendoza during the early 19th century.
25 de Mayo tram stop is located at the junction of Calle 25 de Mayo and Calle Pascual Segura, on the boundary between the City of Mendoza and Godoy Cruz. The street commemorates 25 May 1810, when the May Revolution led to the formation of Argentina’s first locally governed administration. The stop was rebuilt as an enclosed smart stop, with the new facility entering service in April 2026.

Pellegrini tram stop is located beside Calle Pascual Segura at Calle Pellegrini in northern Godoy Cruz. It serves the surrounding Bombal Sur and Villa Mercedes residential neighbourhoods.

San Martín tram stop is located where the Metrotranvía corridor crosses Avenida San Martín at Calle Anzorena in northern Godoy Cruz. The avenue and stop commemorate General José de San Martín, who governed the Cuyo region from Mendoza and organised the Army of the Andes there before its historic crossing of the mountains in 1817.
Godoy Cruz tram station is located beside Calle Mitre in central Godoy Cruz, on the site of the former San Vicente railway station. The railway station opened in 1885 and was renamed Godoy Cruz in 1902, while the municipal offices, Plaza Godoy Cruz, San Vicente Ferrer church and Estadio Feliciano Gambarte are nearby.
Progreso tram stop is located where the Metrotranvía corridor crosses Calle Progreso at Calle Valle Grande in the San Francisco del Monte district of Godoy Cruz. It serves the surrounding Batalla del Pilar and Agua y Energía residential neighbourhoods.
Independencia tram stop is located at the junction of Calle Independencia and Calle Alsina in Godoy Cruz, beside Parque Independencia and serving the surrounding Alianza y Progreso neighbourhood.

Parque TIC tram stop is located beside Calle Valle Grande on the northern side of Mendoza TIC Parque Tecnológico in Godoy Cruz. It opened as an infill stop in May 2021 to serve the technology campus, which accommodates technology businesses, start-ups and university facilities. TIC is the Spanish abbreviation for information and communication technologies.
9 de Julio tram stop is located at the junction of Calle 9 de Julio and Calle Valle Grande in Luzuriaga. It stands beside Parque 9 de Julio, a linear park containing a cycleway, play area and outdoor exercise equipment. The name commemorates Argentina’s declaration of independence on 9 July 1816.

Maza is also one of the enclosed smart stops introduced across the Metrotranvía network, with controlled access and electronic fare gates.
Gutiérrez is the southern terminus of Metrotranvía service 101 and is located within the historic General Gutiérrez railway station complex in Maipú. The original station opened in 1885 as part of the Buenos Aires and Pacific Railway and was restored for the introduction of Metrotranvía services in 2012.
