Tram line R15 in Neuchâtel
Littorail line R15 runs for approximately nine kilometres between Neuchâtel, Place Pury and Boudry. It serves Serrières, Auvernier, Colombier and Areuse while following the northwestern shore of Lake Neuchâtel. The complete journey takes approximately 19 minutes.
Services generally operate every 20 minutes, with additional weekday services at busier times. The route was previously designated line 215 before becoming R15 with the introduction of the December 2023 timetable.
Starting at Neuchâtel, Place Pury beside the lake and the city centre, line R15 runs west to Evole, where one of the line’s depots is located. It then continues through Champ-Bougin, Port-de-Serrières and Serrières Ruau.
Beyond Serrières, the line follows its largely reserved alignment through Auvernier before continuing to Allées, Colombier and Les Chézards. The latter stop serves the area surrounding Neuchâtel Airport.
The route then continues through Areuse and passes the former regular-service stop at Les Isles, which is located beside the Musée du tram and remains available for occasional heritage services. Line R15 continues through Tuilière before reaching its western terminus and depot at Boudry.

Place Pury Littorail is the eastern terminus of the Littorail route and a bus interchange located beside Esplanade du Mont-Blanc, immediately southwest of Place Pury in central Neuchâtel. The stop provides access to the city’s historic centre, principal shopping streets and lakefront. Place Pury commemorates David de Pury, an 18th-century Neuchâtel merchant and philanthropist whose bequest funded numerous public and charitable projects in the city.

Evole tram stop is located beside the Littorail depot and workshops, which occupy a small peninsula extending into Lake Neuchâtel. The stop serves the surrounding lakeside neighbourhood west of the city centre, with the Musée d’ethnographie de Neuchâtel within walking distance.
Champ-Bougin tram stop is located on the reserved Littorail alignment below the residential neighbourhood of the same name. It provides access to the western part of Neuchâtel, with the Plage de Serrières and its lakeside recreation area within walking distance.
Port-de-Serrières tram stop is located beside the small harbour from which it takes its name, at the lakeside edge of the Serrières district. The harbour dates from the 19th century and the mouth of the Serrière, the stream around which the district’s historic industries developed, is also nearby.
Serrières Ruau tram stop is located on the Littorail alignment beside Rue de Ruau, serving the western part of the Serrières district. The surrounding area combines residential development with commercial and former industrial sites between the railway, the A5 motorway and the lakeshore.
Auvernier Littorail is a tram and bus interchange located near the lakeside edge of the historic wine-growing village of Auvernier. The village centre, Château d’Auvernier, surrounding vineyards and the harbour on Lake Neuchâtel are within walking distance.

Colombier, Allées Littorail is a tram and bus interchange located on the eastern side of Colombier. It serves the surrounding residential neighbourhoods and provides access to the lower part of the village and the nearby lakeside area.

Colombier Littorail tram stop is located on the southern side of Colombier, serving the historic village centre and surrounding residential neighbourhoods. Château de Colombier, which contains military facilities and museums devoted to military history and painted fabrics, is within walking distance.
Colombier, Les Chézards tram stop is located on the western side of Colombier beside Neuchâtel Airport. It serves the surrounding commercial and residential area as well as the airport, which is used primarily for general aviation, flying instruction and other non-scheduled activities.
Boudry, Areuse Littorail is a tram and bus interchange serving the village of Areuse, close to the River Areuse and Lake Neuchâtel. The Musée du tram is approximately 400 metres west of the stop beside the former Les Isles regular-service stop.

Boudry, Tuilière tram stop is located on the eastern side of Boudry, serving the surrounding residential and commercial area. The name derives from the French word tuilière, referring to a place where roof tiles were traditionally manufactured.
Boudry Littorail is the western terminus of the Littorail route and a bus interchange located beside the line’s depot and maintenance facilities. It serves the town of Boudry, with its historic centre, Château de Boudry and the lower entrance to the Gorges de l’Areuse within walking distance.
