Tram line 1 in Algiers
Tram line 1 in Algiers runs from Ruisseau (العناصر) in the center of the city to Dergana Centre, which is to the east of the city. Trams run approximately every 4 minutes on weekdays and every 8 minutes on Fridays.
From the terminus stop at Ruisseau (العناصر), the line travels north along Rue Mohamed Belkacemi, passing Les Fusillés (المعدومين), until it reaches Rue Tripoli, where it turns right and passes Tripoli - Thaâlibia, Tripoli - Mosqué, Tripoli - Hamadèche and Tripoli - Magharia. The line turns slightly left and passes Carroubier, before turning slightly right and traveling alongside Boulevard de l'Aln, passing La Glacière and then turning left to cross the Oued El Harrach and stopping at Pont El Harrach.
From Pont El Harrach, the line runs east alongside Route Nationale 5, passing Belle Vue and Bekri Bouguera until it reaches the junction with the N24, where it turns left, stopping at Cinq Maisons. From Cinq Maisons, the line runs along N24, passing Foire d'Alger, Les Pins (الصنوبر) and Tamaris, until it reaches Boulevard du Tramway, where it turns right, stopping at Tamaris.
From Tamaris, the line turns right onto Boulevard Mokhtar Zerhouni, passing Cité Mokhtar Zerhouni - Les Bananiers and crossing Pont des Bananiers and then joining Boulevard de l'Université and passing Cité Rabia and Université de Bab Ezzouar. After Université de Bab Ezzouar, the line turns left, stopping at Cité 5 juillet and then turning left and stopping at Bab Ezzouar - le Pont. The line then heads north along Rue Collonel Amirouche, stopping at Cité Universitaire - CUB 1, Cité 08 Mai 1945, Clair Matin and Bordj El Kifan - Lycée.
From Bordj El Kifan - Lycée, the line turns right on to Rue Ali Khodja, stopping at Bordj El Kifan - Centre and Bordj El Kifan - Plyclinique and then crossing the N24, where it turns left and travels alongside the N24, stopping at Mouhous (موحوس), Mimouni Hamoud, Ben Merabet, Ben Redouane, Ben Merad, Sidi Dris and Benzergua to Café Chergui, where it turns right and travels east, again alongside N24 until it reaches Faculté Biomédicale. From Faculté Biomédicale, the line turns right and passes Dergana Cité, before arriving at the terminus stop Dergana Centre.
