Tram systems in Canada

Canada is located in the northern part of North America and extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean. Canada consists of ten provinces and three territories and its capital is Ottawa.

Canada has a history of streetcars (as trams are called in North America), that stretches back to the late 19^th century and includes a mixture of horsedrawn, steam and electrc trams as well as 2 systems that were gasoline driven. Canada currently has 4 cities with streetcar systems, which are Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Toronto.
