Tram line 15 in Zürich
Tram line 15 in Zürich runs between the terminus stops of Bucheggplatz and Bahnhof Stadelhofen. The entire journey takes about 16 minutes and there is a tram every 7 or 8 minutes during the week and on Saturdays, rising to every 10 minutes on Sundays.
Starting from the terminus at Bucheggplatz, the line runs south along Hofweisenstrasse to Schaffhauserplatz. From Schaffhauserplatz, the line follows Weinbergstrasse, past Haldenegg to Central. From Central, the line travels along Limmatquai on the banks of the Limmat, through Zürich's picturesque old town to Bellevue. From Bellevue, it is a short journey along the edge of Sechseläutenplatz, on Theaterstrasse until the line turns left into Stadelhoferplatz and the terminus of the line.

Bucheggplatz tram stop is located in the middle of a roundabout, with an immediately recognizable X shaped pedestrian walkway running over the top. The stop serves tram lines 11 and 15 and also bus lines 32, 40, 69, 72, 83 and night buses N1 and N7.
Laubiweg is an intermediate stop on tram lines 11 and 15.
Schaffhauserplatz is an interchange for tram lines 7, 11, 14 and 15 amd also serves bus line 33 and night bus N6.
Röslistrasse is an intermediate stop on tram lines 7 and 15 and also serves night bus N6.
Ottikerstrasse is an intermediate stop on tram lines 7 and 15 and also serves night bus N6.
Sonneggstrasse is an intermediate stop on tram lines 7 and 15 and also serves night bus N6.
Haldenegg is an intermediate stop that serves tram lines 6, 7, 10 and 15 and night bus N6. The stop is split in two, with one part serving the lines that follow Weinbergstrasse and the other the lines that climb Leonhardstrasse towards the university.
Known as Leonhardplatz until the 1950, Cental is a major public transport interchange, with tram lines 3, 4, 6, 7, 10 and 15 all stopping here, as well as bus lines 31 and 45 and night buses N2, N4, N5, N6, N7, N8 and N78. On one side of the interchange, you can also find the Polybahn funicular railway that runs up to the buldings of ETH Zurich.
Rudolf-Brun-Brücke is an intermediate stop on tram lines 4 and 15. The stop is located on the Limmatquai and close to the bridge it is named after, which itself is named after the first mayor of Zürich. Looking across the Limmat, you will see the historic buildings of Zürich's old town (Altstadt) and the Lindenhof that rises above them.
Rathaus is an intermediate stop on tram lines 4 and 15. The stop is named after the Rathaus (Town Hall) that sits atop the edge of the Limmat. The stop is in the heart of Zürich's Altstadt (old town), which runs either side of the Limmat, with the buildings of many of Zürich's historic Guilds identified by their standards.
Helmhaus is an intermediate stop on tram lines 4 and 15. The stop is situated close to the Helmhaus that it is named after and the adjoining Wasserkirche and is overlooked by the impressive structure of the Grossmünster.
Bellevue is another of Zurich's major transport hubs. The stop serves tram lines 2, 4, 5, 8 , 9, 11 and 15 and buses 912 and 916 as well as night buses N1, N2, N4, N5, N6, N7, N8, N11, N12, N13, N14, N15, N16, N17, N18 and N19.
Bahnhof Stadelhofen tram stop serves tram lines 8, 11 and 15 as well as the train line S18, which runs on the tram lines. Additionally, the stop is an interchange with the SBB station of the same name.
