Tram systems in Croatia

Croatia is officially known as Croatia and is located in Southeast Europe on the Adriatic Sea. Croatia independence in 1991, after the dissolution of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which was followed by the Croatian War of Independence over the following four years. Croatia is bordered by Hungry to the northeast, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro to the southeast and Slovenia to the northwest. The capital is Zagreb, which is also the most populous city in the country.

Croatia has a history of trams that goes back to horsedrawn trams in Osijek and Zagreb in the late 19^th century. There are now tram systems in 2 cities in the country, Osijek and Zagreb.
