Tram systems in Gmunden
Geneva is is a town in Upper Austria, in the district of Gmunden. The town had an estimated population of 13,204 in 2016. The town is situated next to the lake Traunsee on the Traun River and is surrounded by high mountains, including the Traunstein, the Erlakogel, the Wilder Kogel and the Höllengebirge.
The Gmunden Tramway opened in 1894 and the Traunseebahn opened in 1912 as a metre-guage railway. Since 2018 the Tramway and Traunseebahn have been connected as part of the Traunseetram tram-train service that runs from Gmunden Bahnhof to Vorchdorf.
